Administration

Ms. Lawrence graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in 1999 with a B.S. in Elementary Education and Learning Disabilities. She earned her partial ESOL Certification from Southeast Missouri State University in 2005, her Master of Arts in Education from Baker University in 2009, and her Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from William Woods University in 2011.

Ms. Lawrence began her career as a teacher at Humboldt Elementary School, where she served from 2000-2009 before transitioning into administration. She served as an Administrative Intern at Humboldt, Coleman, Noyes, Edison, and Lindbergh elementary schools before becoming principal at Humboldt in 2014. She later served as principal at Hyde Elementary School and will serve as principal at Hosea Elementary School beginning in the 2026-2027 school year.

Ms. Lawrence was named MAESP Outstanding Assistant Principal of the Year in 2012 and was honored as the exemplary new principal by the regional chapter of MAESP in 2016.

Ms. Lawrence enjoys playing golf, attending sporting events, and spending time with her family. She has one daughter, Presleigh, who keeps her busy outside of her career.
